In 1880, encapsulating the extensive and fervent chronicle of the Company’s Fur History proves challenging; it could aptly be titled “Once upon a time In Europe.”

Dating back to the XIX century, fur stands as humanity’s oldest textile, indispensable in the frigid regions of the northern hemisphere and highly coveted and traded in Southern Europe. Our progenitor, MARCEL, seized upon this high demand, initiating trade in Italy primarily with imported fur from Canada. Notably, European royalty and nobility adorned themselves with fine furs as symbols of status and opulence, with certain types reserved exclusively for the aristocracy.

1910

By 1910, the artistry of fine fur craftsmanship transitioned seamlessly from father to son, with John perpetuating his father Marcel’s legacy, primarily within the Austro-Hungarian Empire, with resounding success, envisioning his offspring to continue the same path one day.

The turmoil of World War II in 1940 halted all business endeavors of the company, prompting John and his family to seek refuge in Greece until the war’s conclusion.

1946

In 1946, the inaugural Fur Boutique in the Greek capital Athens, the birthplace of democracy, opened its doors, poised to transition into the hands of the third generation, Marcel II. Over the subsequent four decades, the boutique on Mitropoleos Street catered to the era’s most prominent citizens.

1965

The opening to the Market of united State of America was inevitable. Simon the opened he’s wings for the Big Apple (New York), there after few months established business partnerships with department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus strong business relations that lasted for decades.

2082

The company entered its fourth generation, culminating in the grand opening in Florence, renowned for its artistic brilliance, Renaissance architecture, and rich cultural legacy. New designs and techniques soon ushered in the haute couture era for the company.

2010

With the dawn of the 21st century in 2010, a new chapter unfolded, marked by the rapid dissemination of fur coats and real fur home decor worldwide, propelled by the Internet’s power. The fifth and current generation assumed leadership, primarily focusing on real fur home interior design for chalets, lofts, villas, and more.
